Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery

Western Maryland AHEC is a member of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine and uses DOCLINE, the National Librariy of Medicine's automated interlibrary loan request and referral system. The LRC is also a Loansome Doc library. Health professionals, students, and others may use this service.

To order articles listed in MEDLINE via PubMed, you must register as a Loansome Doc user and name Western Maryland AHEC (Library Code MDUCAE) as your primary access library.

When we receive your new Loansome Doc registration, we will email you with the agreement. You must complete and return this agreement before we will fill any requests.

PLEASE NOTE: As of January 2010, we will charge $10 per article loaned from our collection. If we do not have the article here, we will send your requests to other libraries, which may or may not charge for articles. We will invoice you for these charges and will add a 20 percent service fee to any fee from other libraries. Please indicate the amount you are willing to pay on your Loansome Doc request.
