1. INFORMATION & RESOURCE SERVICES
   To improve, promote, and provide access to state-of-the-art information technology and services for health professionals and health professions students
   
   
2. ADVOCACY
   To advocate for improved access to and quality in regional health care with local, state and national partners
   
   
3. ADMINISTRATION
   To retain and enhance an effective WMAHEC workforce
   
   
4. OPERATIONS
   To operate a safe and efficient organization using the necessary facilities, equipment and financial resources to fulfill our mission
   
   
5. RECRUITMENT
   To support programs and services along the educational pipeline as an opportunity for area underserved students and in response to the region's health care needs
   
   
6. RETENTION
   To provide and support professional development and networking efforts to retain health care professionals in the region
   
   
7. INTERDISCIPLINARY
   To support and promote interdisciplinary efforts in the community and in education
   
   
8. COMMUNITY SERVICE
   To offer and support community service projects which promote health and wellness
   
   
9. EVALUATION AND QUALITY IMPROVEMENT
   To account for the outcomes of and improved quality in our programs/services
   
   
10. PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
    To collaborate with partners in program development which supports our mission and provides sufficient funding
